Much of the flavor comes from the way Sumatra coffees are processed, the wet-hull method. This is when the hull and husk are removed at a greater moisture level, requiring a special machine strong enough to handle this type of processing. This method is utilized in very humid environments.

Gayo Mandiri Coffee is a family-owned export company that operates its own mill and collaborates with farmers to ensure greater earnings for the coffee producers through direct trade relationships.
This coffee has cocoa and rich dark chocolate flavors with an exotic herbalness which is evenly matched by the smell of tobacco, roasted nuts and cedar. The cup has layered chocolate taste, licorice flavors, and a bold body that will leave you wanting more.
